Shipping Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will coordinate and execute the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping logistics will help maintain seamless distribution workflows. Duties Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery Utilize Excel workbooks to track shipments and update records accurately Verify shipment details against orders using data entry skills and basic math to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment Coordinate with carriers and logistic coordinator to schedule pickups and deliveries. Track and log completed deliveries. Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organize outgoing loads and paperwork. Create metal tags for outgoing orders Maintain detailed records of shipping & receiving activities, including inbound/outbound logs, incident reports, and shift documentation Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing goods for shipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for documentation and reporting purposes Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipment quantities accurately Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and order fulfillment tasks Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external carriers Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
