Shipping Clerk

In this vital role, you'll coordinate shipping and receiving operations, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and maintain efficient warehouse processes. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service while maintaining safety and organization in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, order picking, packing, and inventory control. Responsibilities Prepare and process outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems. Load and unload trucks efficiently with equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols. Manage inbound shipments by inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against purchase orders. Perform stock replenishment tasks including stocking shelves, organizing warehouse distribution areas, and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly packaging items for shipment, securing loads on pallets, and ensuring all items are ready for dispatch. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations using Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools and support continuous improvement initiatives. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is highly desirable. Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices, inventory management (including MRP systems), and basic math skills for counting and measurements. Strong understanding of order fulfillment procedures including picking & packing, load & unload operations, and stock replenishment. Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology confidently to ensure accuracy in order processing. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
