Shipping Clerk

Overview Join our team as a Shipping Clerk at Quality Environmental Containers, Inc., playing a vital role to ensure smooth, efficient movement of goods through our warehouse operations. This energetic position involves coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall distribution process. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately using appropriate shipping materials and methods Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments while verifying quantities against purchase orders or delivery documentation Utilize warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and manage order fulfillment Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks Conduct data entry tasks related to shipping & receiving logs, order tracking Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping issues promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Assist in stocking shelves, picking & packing orders, and maintaining organized warehouse distribution areas Experience Warehouse experience is highly desirable, or trainable for the right candidate Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems , inventory management software, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including reach trucks), pallet jacks, and RF scanners; forklift certification preferred but not required Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying shipment quantities accurately is helpful Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure precise recordkeeping Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Shipping Clerk if you’re passionate about logistics, thrive on organization, and want to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution.
