Shipping Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and execute shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all goods are processed accurately and efficiently. Location: Hackensack, NJ Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:00pm - 10:00 pm Compensation: $17 per hour Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery. Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and document receipt using warehouse management software. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and inventory management systems, supporting stock replenishment and stocktaking activities. Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Assist in order picking & packing processes, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders with attention to detail. Experience Prior experience working Shipping department Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipping documentation. Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packing techniques, and load & unload activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes.
