Shipping Clerk

Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, picking, packing and fulfilling of the Wholesale orders, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your work will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution, support inventory management, and ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and customer satisfaction. Duties ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a point of contact for wholesale shipments Coordinate with Warehouse Associates with regards to wholesale orders Verify that picked orders match the Purchase Orders and shipping paperwork to include BOL, FedEx Package labels, International Customs Documents, Military Pallet Barcodes, Pick Sheet, etc. Complete paperwork and fulfillments in NetSuite system Work with Transportation to minimize shipping discrepancies Assist with other warehouse duties when volume demands it Report daily damages at the close of day in Fulfillments email QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED Good problem solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Very effective organizational skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Excellent interpersonal skills Forklift Certification Time management skills Good judgement Excellent mathematical skills PREFERRED SKILLS Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP system Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers, both verbal and written Takes initiative Ability to be flexible when needed Sound work ethic PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or listen to others Required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
