Pay Rate: $16.35 - $25.00 per hour (Based on experience) [1] Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time) Schedule: 9/80 schedule (Work 80 hours over 9 days, giving you every other Friday off)! In this fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will ensure all customer shipments are processed accurately, safely, and on time. You will play a vital role in maintaining our inventory integrity, streamlining processes, and ensuring prompt customer satisfaction.What You'll Do (Essential Functions) Load & Organize: Efficiently load trucks ensuring safe, compliant, and organized transport according to regulations and company procedures. Verify & Inspect: Confirm outgoing product condition, weight, or manual counts against documentation to eliminate discrepancies. Logistics Tech: Schedule, pick, pack, stage shipments, and allocate inventory using our computer systems. Documentation: Generate accurate package pallet labels, packing slips, and Bills of Lading (BOL). Data Tracking: Use Odoo to record shipped products and maintain precise records for traceability. Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Customer Service and other teams to align shipping priorities. Quality & Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and support ISO 9001 compliance and continuous process improvement. Team Player: Participate in required cross-training to support the entire shipping department. What You Bring (Requirements) Experience: 2–5 years of experience in shipping and warehouse operations. Equipment: Strong forklift operation proficiency with safe handling practices. Industry Background: Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (metal forming, machining, or welding is a major plus). Tech Skills: Proficiency with shipping paperwork (BOLs, packing slips) and inventory management software like Odoo or similar ERPs. Software: Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Standards: Familiarity or working knowledge of ISO 9001 compliance. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma principles. Work Environment Location: Fully on-site in a dynamic manufacturing facility.
