Shipping Associate (Seasonal)

About Us Harrisville Designs has been spinning 100% virgin wool yarn in Harrisville, New Hampshire since 1971, and is one of only a handful of woolen mills left in this country. We are a family business, founded in 1971. The Colony's bring six generations of textile expertise to Harrisville Designs and, today, produce locally spun yarn, beautifully carded fleece, handmade floor looms, and the award-winning Friendly Loom™ product line for kids and beginner crafters. Our business is growing, and we are currently looking for someone to join our shipping department through the month of December to help us get through our busiest time of year. This person will help our shipping team by picking, packing and processing orders. They work as part of a team as well as independently, and they must work efficiently and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a physically demanding job with prolonged periods of standing, lifting, walking, stretching, and reaching. Experience working with hand-tools is preferred. Candidate should have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
