Shipping Associate for Nutritional Supplement Company

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team in our Hayden, ID office. You will play an important role in our daily operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, inventory management, receiving, and customer returns. You will also be trained to assist customers in our retail showroom as needed. Responsibilities and Duties This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities depending on the needs of the day. Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to doing things right are essential. Shipping & Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently using ShipStation. Import and process orders in ShipStation, reviewing them for potential customer service concerns or discrepancies before shipment and coordinating with the customer service team when clarification is needed. Follow established shipping procedures and quality standards to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Warehouse & Inventory Management Receive incoming freight and inventory, verify quantities, and inspect products for damage or quality concerns. Organize and stock inventory in the warehouse and retail showroom, keeping shelves and storage areas clean, orderly, and well maintained. Monitor inventory levels, track low-stock items, and communicate replenishment needs to the purchasing manager. Assist with quarterly physical inventory counts and help investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. Monitor warehouse supplies and order replenishment as needed. Customer Returns & Refunds Process customer returns and refunds through Shopify in accordance with company procedures. Inspect and document returned products, coordinating with the customer service team when issues require follow-up. Teamwork & Retail Customer Assistance Work closely with the shipping supervisor, purchasing manager, customer service team, and leadership team to support daily operations and resolve issues. Learn to assist walk-in customers in our retail showroom, process orders through Shopify, and develop general product knowledge to help customers make purchases. Take initiative, communicate potential problems, and assist with other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Qualifications and Skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to accuracy are a MUST! Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly are essential. Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or inventory experience is preferred. Forklift experience is highly preferred. Experience with ShipStation, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms is a major plus. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
