Shipping Associate

Warehouse-Shipping/Receiving/Fabrication/Misc Warehouse A nationally recognized Distributor of Commercial Construction Products is looking for an individual to join the team. This postion’s main responsibiity is to ensure timely and well-coordinated receiving and shipping of product for construction projects. These responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: A) Warehouse to be well organized and clean at all times with consistent procedures for all functions. B) Candidate must be proficient with Word, Excel and must operate with Company Custom Software. C) Candidate must be willing to learn Shipping and Receiving functions and must have excellent communication skills. D) All products to be received and checked for damage, tagged and put away until shipment to jobsite. E) All products to be properly marked using Custom Software. F) Coordinate all deliveries with Jobsite. G) Maintain consistent paper flow with Admin. H) Driving and Delivery of products on our 26' Box truck is part of this role. CDL is NOT REQUIRED. I) Scheduling of deliveries to customers J) Work with Admin to file and follow up on freight claims and order issues. K) Help maintain stock inventory levels. L) Develop technical product knowledge. M) Participate and assist in fabrication of product from time to time including woodworking and carpentry. No experience is required, but past experience in this setting is definitely a plus. Individual can be trained for all of the tasks required. This is an hourly pay position. Workday is 6:00AM - 3:00PM.
