Responsibilities
• Unload 53-foot trailer trucks containing drums of ink, including handling approximately 23 trailers per day during peak periods.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick tickets and RF scanners.
• Read and interpret pick tickets to ensure correct items, quantities, and destinations for each order.
• Pack boxes securely for shipment, ensuring products are protected and properly labeled.
• Create and process UPS and FedEx shipping labels using carrier systems and internal software.
• Use shrink wrappers and palletizers to prepare pallets for outbound shipments.
• Ship products using warehouse software and ERP systems to record, track, and complete orders.
• Push, pull, and maneuver drums weighing up to 75 pounds in a safe and controlled manner.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse, including loading and unloading pallets.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including counting, organizing, and tracking stock.
• Support general shipping and receiving functions, including verifying incoming materials and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety, efficiency, and product integrity.
• Collaborate with a small onsite team to meet daily shipping targets and respond to peak workload demands.
• Flexibly adjust to workload needs by coming in early or staying later when required.
Essential Skills
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and picking/packing roles.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks.
• Ability to read and work from pick tickets with strong attention to detail.
• Comfort working with computers, including basic use of ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Experience creating shipping labels and processing shipments with UPS and FedEx.
• Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse environment.
• Capability to push and pull drums weighing up to 75 pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Skill in operating a sit-down forklift to move materials around the warehouse.
• Knowledge of material handling practices to ensure safe and efficient movement of products.
• Experience with inventory control, including tracking, counting, and organizing stock.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience using shrink wrappers and palletizers to prepare pallets for shipment.
• Background working in an ink distribution or similar industrial product environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and shipping deadlines.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, non-climate-controlled warehouse with a small onsite team of approximately 34 people. You will work around material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, shrink wrappers, and palletizers, as well as RF scanners and computer-based ERP and shipping systems.
