Shipping Associate

Well established furniture manufacturing company is in need of a Shipping Associate. A Shipping Associate will sort, handle, package, label, record, load and unload palletized and non-palletized products to ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations. Other duties will include: · Quality inspection of products and containers · Assemble, line, pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools · Sort and load materials and products into packages · Mark and label shipping containers, container tags, or products · Measure, weigh, and count products and materials · Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools · Receiving cross-docked finished goods The ideal candidate must have a High School diploma or GED and previous dock/ warehouse experience. Shift: M-TH: 6:30 am- 4 pm; Fri: 6:30 am- 10:30 am Pay rate: $17 Pay: From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
