Responsibilities
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments according to established procedures.
• Verify shipping orders, product quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and schedule pickups as needed.
• Ensure products are packaged properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, invoices, and other required shipping documents.
• Track shipments and update shipping information within company systems.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable shipping regulations.
• Communicate with internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Assist with receiving, inventory control, and other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using shipping or inventory systems.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and shipping procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move packages and materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
• Familiarity with temperature-controlled shipments and handling sensitive materials.
• Experience with shipping software, tracking systems, and carrier portals.
