Shipping Associate

Starting pay: $21 Opportunity for Quarterly bonuses ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to SafeRack SOPs, quality standards and safety regulations to perform job duties in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Performs order picking, packaging, labeling, handling, loading and other tasks in a timely and efficient manner to meet sales order ship dates. Perform QC inspection for outgoing orders. Perform cycle counts for inventory as required. Assist with Shipping/Inventory tasks in other departments as dictated by work demands. Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean workspace. Displays professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills when interacting with management, employees, vendors, and customers. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and basic analytical abilities. Basic mathematics skills. Basic computer skills (MS Office applications). Must be able to obtain forklift certification PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand and walk continuously (75% or more) Ability to bend, twist, reach, kneel, climb, handle/manipulate frequently (25% to 75%) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently (25% to 75%) Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently (25% to 75%) Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
