ping Associate, you will play an important role in supporting our warehouse and production operations by ensuring products, ingredients and materials move safely and efficiently. An environment that empowers you to take action: Starting pay of $22.49/hour Weekly pay Shift premiums: $0.55/hour for afternoon shifts, $0.70/hour for night shifts, plus an applicable weekend premium Overtime paid at 1.5x, in accordance with the collective agreement Health, dental, life and disability benefits Pension plan with employer matching up to 5% Paid vacation 10 paid holidays Paid sick/personal days Work equipment provided Training and opportunities for internal advancement What you’ll be responsible for each day: As a Shipping Associate, you will: Load and unload trucks. Pick customer orders. Rotate coded products. Supply production with packaging and ingredients from the freezer and warehouse as required. Perform inventory counts. Follow all Safety, Quality and HACCP regulations and policies. The individual who will own this role: Class A certification. Grade 12 or equivalent education. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar environment. Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience (an asset). Strong commitment to workplace safety. Comfortable working in temperatures as low as -35°C. Available for shift work of up to 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends and overtime as required. Schedule is based on production needs. Previous experience in a food processing plant or warehouse environment will be considered an asset.
