SHIPPING ASSOCIATE Hoffman Boots | Kellogg, Idaho Pay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour Hoffman Boots is a family-owned company proudly based in the Silver Valley of North Idaho for over 50 years. We are known as one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality hunting, lineman, and wildland fire boots, serving hardworking customers across the country. As Hoffman Boots continues to grow and modernize its systems and processes, we are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Associate who enjoys physically active work and brings energy and a positive attitude to our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kellogg, Idaho. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ROLE OVERVIEW The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders to Hoffman Boots customers, dealers, and distributors. This position helps ensure orders are processed efficiently, shipped on time, and packaged properly. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Shipping and Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Verify order accuracy, including products, sizes, quantities, and shipping addresses. Print shipping labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documents. Process shipments using company shipping and order management systems. Package orders properly to prevent damage during transit. Meet shipping deadlines and communicate delays or issues to the appropriate team members. Inventory and Warehouse Organization Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and organizing finished products. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse area. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or order errors. Assist with receiving and moving products or materials as needed. Communication and Teamwork Communicate with internal team members to resolve order discrepancies and shipping issues. Work with other departments to ensure orders are completed and shipped on time. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous shipping, warehouse, or order fulfillment experience preferred, but not required. Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn shipping and order management systems. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate order records. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks accurately and on time. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Energy and enthusiasm for hands-on, physically active work. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move packages and materials weighing 50 pounds or more as required. Ability to safely perform tasks in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
