Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, full-time Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: Packaging & Shipping Preparation: Safely pack, re-pack, seal, and label materials and chemical products according to company standards. Documentation & Tracking: Prepare accuracy-critical shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, hazardous material declarations) and record weight, dimensions, and tracking data. Carrier Coordination: Liaise with freight and courier representatives to schedule pickups, arrange delivery routes, compare rates, and issue detailed shipping instructions. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Store incoming supplies and finished goods, maintain precise inventory records, and ensure an organized, safe warehouse space. General Operations: Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by management to support business growth. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience handling domestic and international shipping via FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Education: High School Diploma or GED required; higher education or vocational training is a plus. Industry Knowledge: Background in chemicals or materials handling is highly preferred; familiarity with HazMat packaging and shipping regulations is a major plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs or more regularly. Self-motivated, fast learner, and reliable self-starter. Strong oral and written communication skills for customer and carrier interactions. Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently in a small business setting.
