POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Shipping and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse, goods receiving, shipping, and material-handling operations to ensure the accurate and efficient movement of materials, components, spare parts, and equipment throughout U.S. operations. This position will manage the complete physical material flow from Goods In through storage, inventory handling, internal distribution, and outbound shipping. The role will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, and other internal teams to ensure materials are received, stored, documented, and delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate brings hands-on warehouse and logistics leadership experience within an industrial manufacturing environment and is comfortable balancing daily operational responsibilities with process improvement, inventory accuracy, safety, and team leadership. CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee daily Goods In, receiving, warehouse, material handling, and outbound shipping operations. Manage the receipt and verification of incoming materials, components, spare parts, and equipment against purchase orders and shipping documentation. Ensure incoming materials are properly identified, documented, labeled, and routed for inspection, storage, or internal delivery. Coordinate with Quality and Supply Chain teams to address damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or nonconforming incoming materials. Oversee warehouse organization, material storage, staging, picking, packing, and internal material movements. Maintain accurate inventory and material transactions within the company’s ERP system. Ensure materials are properly staged and available to support Production, Service, Engineering, and other operational teams. Manage outbound shipments of parts, materials, equipment, and other goods to customers, suppliers, service personnel, and internal locations. Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics providers. Ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate and coordinate with appropriate internal teams regarding applicable import/export requirements. Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliation activities, and investigation of inventory discrepancies. Establish and maintain effective warehouse layouts, material locations, labeling, and traceability practices. Develop and improve warehouse, receiving, and shipping procedures to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Monitor workload and resource requirements to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage of warehouse activities. Establish and monitor operational KPIs related to inventory accuracy, receiving, shipping performance, material availability, and warehouse efficiency. Ensure warehouse activities comply with company safety policies and applicable workplace and material-handling requirements.
