Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Location: Tempe, Arizona Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team at our growing sunglass company in Tempe, AZ. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on Shipping and Receiving experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, takes initiative, and is willing to learn. This position involves a variety of warehouse responsibilities, from processing customer orders and receiving inventory to preparing show shipments and maintaining organized stock. We do not operate forklifts, no forklift certification needed. Key Responsibilities Box, pack, and properly prepare customer orders for shipping. Create shipping labels and process outgoing shipments. Receive incoming merchandise and accurately process inventory into our computer system. Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations. Tag products and apply product and packaging labels. Replenish inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels. Prepare and palletize products for trade shows and coordinate shipments. Assemble and put together product displays as needed. Assist with general warehouse duties and daily operations. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. Enter Purchase Orders Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of previous Shipping and Receiving experience REQUIRED. Hands-on experience picking, packing, and preparing customer orders. Experience receiving, processing, and organizing inventory. Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter inventory into a computer system. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities throughout the day. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as with a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy warehouse environment. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and remain on your feet for 8 or more hours per day. Must be comfortable performing hands-on warehouse duties throughout the workday. Must be able to lift, carry, pack, and move merchandise and shipping materials as required, within the position's established lifting limits.
