Role Description Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Deburring role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ipswich, MA. This role is responsible for receiving and unloading incoming materials, verifying shipments against documentation, and organizing items in designated storage areas. The specialist prepares and packs outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and protection of machined parts during transit. Day-to-day work includes maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with the production team to meet delivery schedules. The deburring portion of the role involves using hand tools and equipment to remove sharp edges, clean, and finish machined components according to specifications and quality standards. The position requires consistent attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and clear communication with team members and supervisors. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including checking orders, preparing documentation, pulling order from stock and making sure the orders are ready for an on-time delivery while also coordinating inbound and outbound freight. Candidates should possess skills in Packing and protecting completed parts to ensure safe and damage-free delivery. Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control, including organizing stock, tracking materials, and assisting with inventory counts. Candidates should possess skills in Unloading and handling incoming materials safely and efficiently. Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or similar material-handling equipment, following safety protocols and company procedures. Experience with deburring and basic finishing of machined components is preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions, packing lists, and basic production documentation. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time-management skills in a manufacturing environment. Comfort working in a shop setting, standing for extended periods, and lifting materials as required, with reasonable accommodations where needed. Previous experience in manufacturing, machining, or a similar industrial role is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
