Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Duties Receive, inspect, document, and process all inbound shipments Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and verifying orders with precision Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks efficiently Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry in inventory management software and ERP systems Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory management software accordingly Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade documentation requirements during cross-border shipments Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities, weights, and measurements Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with pallet jacks preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and inventory control Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance standards, international trade regulations, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to play a crucial role in delivering excellence across our supply chain.
