Responsibilities
• Manage the receipt of incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and update stock records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload materials safely.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely for delivery.
• Perform order fulfillment tasks including picking, packing, and labeling items for shipment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movements throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with e-commerce order processing as needed.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a focus on shipping & receiving operations.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
• Experience with packaging, order picking, and loading/unloading shipments.
• Knowledge of MRP systems is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
