Responsibilities Accurately receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and recording all items using inventory management software and warehouse management systems. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation in compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks efficiently and safely. Maintain precise inventory levels through data entry and stock management practices within ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays promptly. Conduct regular stock counts, organize storage areas, and ensure proper stocking procedures are followed to optimize warehouse operations. Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal requests for order fulfillment and shipment status updates with professionalism and accuracy. Skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations to ensure compliance. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is preferred. Excellent data entry skills coupled with basic math abilities for accurate record keeping and inventory calculations. Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, load & unload procedures, and trade compliance standards. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Outstanding communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
