Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Summary As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by coordinating shipping and receiving, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting timely order fulfillment. You’ll use warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track goods, process data, and help ensure shipments are handled accurately. Your impact: Accurate receiving and order picking help customers and warehouse teams get the right products where they need to be. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify quantities and documentation, and report discrepancies. Load and unload freight using equipment such as a forklift, order picker, or pallet jack, following safe operating procedures. Update inventory and shipment records through data entry in warehouse management systems, Shopworks, as applicable. Support warehouse distribution and shipping logistics, including trade compliance and international trade regulations; respond to customer service inquiries as needed. Requirements Warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, stocking, and order fulfillment. Experience with Microsoft Office and data entry is useful. Basic math skills to verify counts and shipment details; clear communication and customer service skills. Forklift, order picker, or pallet jack experience is preferred.
