Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Summary As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you’re in charge of the increasing number of boxes coming in and out of the shop, maintaining accurate inventory, and preparing orders for delivery. You’ll use company management systems and inventory management software to track goods, support order fulfillment, and help ensure shipments meet applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Your impact: Accurate, timely handling helps customers receive the right orders and helps warehouse teams maintain reliable stock. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods; compare shipments with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies through established procedures. Pick, pack, package, label, and stage orders. Load and unload shipments, stock inventory, and maintain organized storage areas. Effectively manage shipment and inventory data. Coordinate shipping logistics and distribution; provide responsive customer service and maintain accurate records. Requirements Shipping and receiving operations, inventory management, stocking, order picking, and picking and packing. Basic math skills to verify quantities, counts, and shipping documents. Ability to safely load and unload goods. Knowledge of logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations is preferred; attention to detail and clear communication are essential.
