Duties
• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems
• Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and documenting orders accurately for delivery or transfer
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and ensure compliance with shipping & trade regulations including international trade standards
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to support inventory accuracy
• Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to prevent damage during transit while optimizing space utilization in warehouse distribution
Requirements
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities, weights, measurements, and documentation purposes
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, order fulfillment, and stock management tasks
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers or vendors
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus
• Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand for extended periods during shift hours
