Shipping and Receiving Specialist

About us 1 Green Planet is an electronics recycling and IT asset disposition company in Renton. We pick up retired laptops, servers, monitors, and other electronics from businesses, schools, and public agencies, then track every item until it's wiped, reused, or recycled. We're R2v3 and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certified, so accurate paperwork matters here as much as speed. What you'll do Unload inbound trucks and check each load against the bill of lading, pickup paperwork, or work order Weigh pallets and gaylords and record weights in our system (Makor) Label and stage material in the right area so the sorting team can find it Report damage, missing items, or count discrepancies to your lead before signing off on a load Pull data-bearing devices (hard drives, laptops, phones) for the data sanitization team Build, wrap, and label outbound pallets for downstream buyers and load trucks Keep the dock clean and take part in weekly equipment checks and the cleaning rotation Attend daily morning safety meetings What we're looking for 1+ year in warehouse, shipping and receiving, or similar hands-on work Forklift and pallet jack experience (we'll certify you) Comfortable entering data on a computer or tablet accurately Able to lift to 100 lbs. regularly and stay on your feet for a full shift Follows written procedures closely, every load, every time Nice to have Experience in recycling, scrap, or a certified (ISO or R2) facility Bilingual in English and Spanish Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
