Responsibilities
• Manage incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and accurately entering data into inventory management software.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling products correctly, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickup and delivery.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain precise inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms, ensuring stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
• Organize stock placement within the warehouse for optimal accessibility, utilizing inventory management best practices for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to plan shipping routes, schedule deliveries, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing shipping inquiries, tracking orders, and resolving issues related to order fulfillment or delivery delays.
Skills
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as AS400, and inventory management software.
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards.
• Experience with warehouse operations including stocking, picking & packing, order picking, load & unload procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
• Competence in data entry using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Basic math skills for measuring quantities, calculating weights or dimensions, and verifying shipment details accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
• Customer service orientation with effective communication skills to liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
