Responsibilities Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments using warehouse management systems and RFID scanners. Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling orders in accordance with customer specifications and trade compliance standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper stacking and storage of inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to uphold inventory integrity. Ensure all shipping & receiving activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution routes, improve order fulfillment times, and enhance overall warehouse operations. Use RF scanners, barcode systems, and other technology tools to streamline order picking & packing processes for faster delivery times. Support packaging activities to protect products during transit while adhering to safety standards. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment that promotes safety and efficiency. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly preferred; familiarity with shipping logistics, inventory management software, and ERP systems is a plus. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers is desirable; certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Basic math skills are essential for counting stock accurately and processing shipments correctly. Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will support daily documentation tasks. Excellent customer service skills are important for interacting with internal teams and external carriers professionally. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance enhances your ability to handle global shipments effectively.
