Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Powered Aire is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. This position plays an important role in our daily operations by ensuring that incoming materials, parts, and outgoing shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Order Fulfillment Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing products, replacement parts, and customer orders. Verify orders for accuracy, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped. Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other shipping providers. Prepare shipping documentation, packing slips, and freight paperwork. Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain an organized and efficient shipping area. Receiving & Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, and shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items. Accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory. Organize, label, and properly store materials and products. Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels. Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed. General Warehouse Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shipping/receiving area. Safely handle and move materials, packages, and equipment. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and freight shipments. Follow established safety procedures and company policies. Support other warehouse and production activities as needed. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory management preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus. Experience with UPS, FedEx, or other shipping systems preferred. Ability to lift and move packages and materials as required. Forklift experience is a plus. Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn new skills.
