NR ConsultingShipping/Receiving Manager Location: Danville, KY Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Range: $88k - $130k Yearly We are seeking an experienced Shipping/Receiving Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will lead warehouse staff, manage inventory, ensure timely shipping/receiving, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations. Lead, train, and develop warehouse personnel while ensuring safety and productivity. Maintain inventory accuracy and optimize warehouse processes. Drive Lean, 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor warehouse KPIs, costs, staffing, and overall performance. Collaborate with logistics, procurement, customer service, and operations teams. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. 5–7+ years of manufacturing experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or materials management. Previous Warehouse Manager or similar leadership experience. Experience with SAP/WMS and inventory management systems . Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of warehouse safety and Lean/continuous improvement practices. APICS certification is a plus.
