Key Responsibilities Order Processing: Track, prioritize, and route outgoing customer orders using shipping software. Documentation Management: Handle vital paperwork including bills of lading, pick slips, and advance shipping notices. Team Supervision: Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff and coordinators. Quality Control: Inspect labels, barcodes, and package contents to prevent shipping errors. Carrier Management: Select transportation carriers, negotiate rates, and manage shipping costs. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and workplace safety standards. Problem Resolution: Fix delayed, lost, or damaged shipments quickly. Qualifications & Requirements Education: High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics is often preferred. Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience working in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and electronic shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, inventory management systems).
