Shipping and Receiving Lead

Job Overview As a Shipping and Receiving Lead, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by coordinating incoming and outgoing goods, supporting order fulfillment, and guiding daily shipping and receiving work. You’ll use warehouse management systems and inventory tools to maintain accurate records, organize stock, and help the team meet customer needs. Your impact: Accurate, timely shipments help customers receive the right orders and keep warehouse distribution running smoothly. Duties Coordinate shipping and receiving, load and unload freight, and verify shipments against documentation. Lead picking, packing, packaging, stocking, and order picker workflows using an RF scanner, forklift, or pallet jack as appropriate. Maintain inventory through data entry and inventory management software, warehouse management systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) or manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems, including AS400 where used. Support shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations by following applicable procedures and maintaining shipment records. Respond to internal and external requests with clear, helpful customer service; use Microsoft Office and basic math to resolve routine discrepancies. Requirements Warehouse experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, order picking, and inventory management. Familiarity with warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, data entry, and inventory management software. Ability to use or learn a warehouse management system, Microsoft Office, RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and forklifts; follow site safety procedures when operating equipment. Basic math skills and attention to detail for counting, checking, and recording inventory.
