Shipping and Receiving / Inventory

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving / Inventory Associate to join our team. This role is essential in managing the flow of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, managing inventory through software systems, and supporting shop cleanliness and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse operations in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials and products. Manage inventory levels accurately using inventory management software. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document receipt of goods. Prepare outgoing shipments by organizing and packing items for delivery or transfer. Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate easy access and inventory tracking. Keep the shop environment clean by removing sawdust and debris regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed to ensure data accuracy. Support other warehouse or shop duties as required to ensure smooth operations. Experience Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification is a plus. Familiarity with inventory management software systems is highly desirable. Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting heavy objects when necessary. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 – 48.0 per week Work Location: In person
