Shipping and Receiving forklift operator

Job Overview As a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by safely handling incoming and outgoing goods. You’ll use forklifts and other material-handling equipment to receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products while maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records. Your work supports reliable order fulfillment and smooth warehouse distribution. Duties Load and unload shipments; inspect goods and verify quantities against shipping documents. Operate a forklift, riding jack or walk behind electric pallet jack, to move, stock, and retrieve products safely. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, following shipping logistics and applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Enter shipment and inventory data into warehouse management systems, inventory management (Sage accounting )software. Your impact: Accurate handling and records help customers receive the right orders and help warehouse teams maintain dependable inventory. Skills Essential: Forklift operating ability, basic math, data entry, and familiarity with shipping and receiving, inventory management, stocking, packaging, picking and packing, and order picking. Essential: Knowledge of warehouse operations, warehouse distribution, logistics, and order fulfillment; warehouse experience is required. Preferred: Experience with a warehouse management system, inventory management software, ERP systems, material requirements planning (MRP), or AS400. Preferred: Microsoft Office skills and customer service experience. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week Benefits: Retirement plan Work Location: In person
