Hayes Instrument Service, Inc.Job Summary Hayes Instrument Service currently has a full-time opening at our Billerica, MA calibration facility. We are looking for an organized team member to coordinate local customer deliveries, verify that equipment and documentation are correctly labeled, and support the shipping and receiving department. You must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds. Duties Receive incoming shipments by recording details using Hayes custom software, assuring accurate data entry for all transactions related to customer submissions. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products according to shipping & receiving protocols and customer specifications Packaging test equipment securely for transportation to assure units are not damaged during transit Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates on shipment status and resolving any logistical issues Experience Must have valid driver's license Must be able to comfortably lift 50 pounds Must have some computer/data entry experience Experience in shipping & receiving or logistics roles preferred Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
