Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

SeaSide Silk Screening – Wilmington, NC area We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Logistics Receiving & Shipping Associate to manage the flow of apparel goods through our production center. You’ll handle incoming shipments, inventory accuracy, and outbound orders while working as part of a fast-moving team. Pay & Growth $18–$21/hour for candidates who can handle multiple roles or bring strong experience Real advancement path: Earn your forklift certification within 90 days and step into a Senior Associate role in 6–9 months. Supervisor opportunities open as the company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Receiving Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders/invoices Unload, sort, and label goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Document and report damages, shortages, or discrepancies Enter receipts into inventory systems and put product away in the correct locations Shipping Pick, pack, and label outbound orders to customer specifications Generate bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels Coordinate carrier pickups and ensure on-time shipping Double-check orders before they leave to minimize errors Safety, Compliance & Teamwork Follow all safety procedures and company policies Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free Communicate clearly with warehouse teammates, supervisors, suppliers, and carriers What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred (not required) Active forklift certification is a strong plus Comfortable with warehouse equipment and basic inventory software Able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail, reliability, and team mindset Basic computer skills for data entry Work Environment Warehouse setting with varying temperatures and noise levels. Physical role that includes lifting, bending, and operating equipment. Shift work and occasional weekends may be required based on production needs.
