Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient management of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Your expertise will help streamline warehouse operations, enhance inventory control, and support seamless order fulfillment. Responsibilities Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of shipments, verifying all inbound and outbound deliveries against shipping documents. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) Conduct inventory management activities including stock counting, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain accurate records. Collaborate with logistics providers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues promptly. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and shipping logistics protocols for domestic and international orders. Maintain detailed documentation of all shipping & receiving activities through data entry and recordkeeping systems. Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing inventory storage areas, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace. Skills Warehouse floor experience a plus. Strong customer service. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems for efficient data entry and tracking. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment processes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for measuring quantities, calculating weights or dimensions for shipments. Effective communication skills for customer service interactions with vendors or internal teams. Familiarity with warehouse distribution practices including stocking, packaging, picking & packing procedures.
