Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to oversee our logistics operations. This role involves managing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining seamless communication across warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP logistics systems or proven warehouse management expertise, particularly in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse systems. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends is essential to meet business needs. Duties Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and other related records. Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent tracking and reconciliation of stock levels. Utilize SAP logistics or other warehouse management systems to process shipments, update inventory records, and track materials effectively. Oversee the proper handling of goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Collaborate with internal teams to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all warehouse operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to shipping and receiving processes. Skills Hands-on experience with SAP logistics or proven warehouse management experience involving shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse systems. Strong understanding of shipping documentation requirements and procedures. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including weekends as needed by the business. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors. Prior experience managing shipping and receiving operations beyond general warehouse or forklift duties is preferred.
