Shipping and Receiving Contractor

Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders Accurately pick materials from inventory based on order requests Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage in transit Use an RF scanner to scan, track, and record inventory movement Label, document, and stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup Enter and update basic shipping and inventory information in the computer system Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Qualifications Experience with packaging and preparing items for shipment preferred Ability to speak, read, and understand English (to follow instructions, read labels, and communicate with the team) Basic computer skills, such as data entry and navigating simple software Experience using an RF scanner preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing orders Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
