Shipping and Receiving Clerk/Material Handler

Shift / Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Type : Full-time, On-site Job Location: Glassboro, NJ Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive total compensation package and are fully committed to helping every employee attain their professional and personal goals. The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $19.00 - $23.00. The pay rate is negotiable and will be based on experience. Health, Dental, Life, Disability Insurance / Paid Time Off / Holiday Pay / 401K With Company Match / Free Uniforms / Employee Incentive Program / Fantastic Educational and Career Advancement Benefits / Paid Training / On-site Welder Training Program available for all employees Responsibilities: Pulls, packs and ships all parts orders Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct Receive and inspect inbound inventory, includes reporting of any discrepancies, entry into computer, and delivering material to the correct person/department Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area Perform vehicle yard maintenance and other general labor work as needed Assist with routine building care and maintenance including, but not limited to snow removal, garbage removal, hazmat, scrap, and basic landscaping needs Assist with inventory management of PPE equipment and safety materials Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications / Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent Shipping/Receiving and warehouse experience required, related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment is preferred Computer literate with experience on Microsoft Outlook and related shipping/receiving software.
