Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods through the warehouse, supporting efficient warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling shipping logistics and warehouse activities. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately using RF scanners and packing materials. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems and ERP platforms like AS400 or MRP software. Manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and trade compliance forms for domestic and international shipments. Collaborate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries while adhering to shipping & receiving schedules. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock placement and replenishment. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies related to shipping logistics. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment conducive to efficient operations. Assist with data entry related to shipment tracking, order processing, and inventory updates. This position is integral to maintaining seamless warehouse operations through effective shipping & receiving practices.
