Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Morrigan Employment is seeking a full-time SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK for a role at a manufacturing warehouse in Canby, OR. This company manufactures plastic components used in construction and building production. Position: Shipping/Receiving Clerk Location: Canby, OR Days: Monday – Friday Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Rate of Pay: $19 – $21/hr DOE Duration: Temp to hire, long-term POSITION DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will help manage the flow of inbound and outbound freight, maintain accurate inventory records, and support the warehouse team in keeping operations running smoothly. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Process outbound shipments including labeling, packaging, and carrier coordination Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records using warehouse management or ERP systems Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to the appropriate team members Placing orders, speaking on the phone with drivers, sending emails, and comfortable navigating Microsoft programs Stage and organize freight in designated areas for efficient pick-up and delivery Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move materials as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as requested Requirements: Lifting up to 40 lbs; standing, bending, stooping, and walking for the duration of shift 1+ year of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred Familiarity with shipping software, scanners, and intermediate computer data entry Must be comfortable speaking on the phone, good customer service skills, speaking with other operators/dispatch/etc. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Previous forklift experience preferred Ability to read packing slips, BOLs, and shipping labels accurately If interested, apply today!
