Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Inventory Clerks perform a variety of functions, which include: Handling, and processing shipment to specifications for USPS, UPS, FED Ex and DHL. Determine the shipping cost of individual orders and the shipping method Produce shipping labels. Track and report the cost of shipments. Keying in all transactions Inventory verification Closing jobs as instructed This job will also contain the physical aspects of loading up packages for transport. Other duties, as needed Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency desired Must be able to communicate well with others, both internally and externally. Working with freight carriers to balance services and cost. Alliance and KBM would be helpful, but not required. Ability to compile information. Attention to detail. Must scrutinize freight billing, enter in correct and accurate data. Depending upon Order Fulfillment’s work schedule, the position may require working on Saturdays. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with some overtime possible. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Pay: $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
