Responsibilities
• Unload incoming delivery trucks and inspect shipments for damage or defects
• Verify quantities, weights, and contents against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders
• Accurately enter receiving information into inventory management systems or daily logs
• Label, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain organized inventory and stockroom areas
• Communicate shipment discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed
Qualifications
• Basic inventory experience required
• Basic computer literacy required
• Ability to accurately verify and record shipment information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Ronkonkoma, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
