The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in shipping best practices and prior experience independently navigating carrier software. Specific Duties Custom Packaging & Fulfillment: Evaluate each shipment individually to select appropriate boxing, cushioning, and protective materials. Accuracy & Quality Control: Verify accuracy of order contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and serial numbers prior to final sealing. Carrier & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate directly with carriers regarding deliveries, pickups, special handling, scheduling, and tracking issues. Supply & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels for custom shipping materials, specialized boxes, and packing supplies, anticipating needs ahead of high-volume periods. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience independently operating UPS WorldShip and FedEx online software. Custom Packaging Experience: Demonstrated experience in hand-packaging fragile, high-value, or non-standard electronic items using critical judgment. Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills with the ability to comfortably navigate multiple shipping platforms, verify digital manifests, and manage tracking logs. Soft Skills & Attributes: Dependability with reliable attendance and punctuality. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist team members on broader inventory or logistics projects. Preferred: Familiarity with international shipping documentation and customs regulations is highly preferred.
