Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our work environment includes: Uniform Retail Store Fast paced *Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, stocking, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations. *Responsibilities* - Process incoming shipments, count merchandise, checking for damages and accuracy -Ensure that all stock is put away and organized - Prepare outgoing shipments by packing orders, labeling, and arranging for transportatio. Must have familiarity with UPS shipping. - Utilize computer to track inventory and shipments - Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials - Maintain organized records of all incoming and outgoing shipments - Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and weights of shipments *Qualifications* - Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role required - Proficiency in order picking, packing, and warehouse operations - Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and documentation - Ability to be organized and self starter - Knowledge of basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements - Experience with shipping processes is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Required) Language: English (Required) Work Location: In person
