shipments moving smoothly by supporting technicians, handling incoming equipment, and helping maintain an efficient parts operation.
Responsibilities
• Process and fulfill customer orders by accurately picking, packing, and shipping products using FedEx and DHL systems.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify order accuracy, and inspect parts and equipment for damage.
• Organize, label, and stock inventory in the warehouse to ensure easy access and proper rotation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for customers and field technicians in a timely and accurate manner.
• Create shipping labels and documentation for parcel and freight shipments using appropriate carrier and system tools.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts using basic computer systems and participate in inventory control activities.
• Assist with preparing parts kits for service jobs and equipment installations to support technicians and service staff.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with internal team members and support staff to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
• Participate in cycle counts and general inventory organization to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Handle material movement within the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and staging parts and boxes as needed.
• Use RF scanners or similar tools to track inventory, document movement, and update records.
Essential Skills
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control roles is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with inventory, kitting, picking, packing, and material handling in a warehouse environment.
• Computer literacy, including basic email use and simple data entry.
• Experience working with FedEx and DHL shipping systems or similar carrier platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory or order processing is preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize parts and boxes as needed to perform daily warehouse tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Reliable, punctual work habits and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a small team environment and supporting multiple departments.
• Effective communication skills to interact with technicians, support staff, and other internal team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking is a plus.
• Interest in mechanical or industrial equipment is helpful but not required.
• Prior experience creating shipping labels and documentation for parcel and freight shipments.
• Experience in logistics or distribution environments is beneficial.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new warehouse systems and processes.
