Kalyani Mobility DrivelinesShipping and Receiving Clerk Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work in a warehouse environment and is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keeping accurate records. The clerk will package items, print labels, weigh packages, and determine appropriate postages. They are also responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual goods received, inspecting for damaged goods, and once approved, distributing goods to the correct departments. Duties/Responsibilities: · Receives goods - checks and signs delivery slips and assists with unloading as necessary · Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents and ensures receipt in good condition · Accepts or returns goods according to established company procedures. · Verifications against documents, unpacks, and routes goods to appropriate storage areas. · May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods. · Maintains internal record-keeping systems. · Assembles containers and crates and packs goods to be shipped to prevent deterioration and damage during transit · Know proper shipping procedures for transportation. · Takes inventory, maintains storage area, organizes, and places stock in storage locations · Other duties as assigned to assist production, assembly, and ship floor as needed Required Skills/Abilities: · Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock · Receiving, stocking, and stacking as well as pulling, packing, and loading · Good written and verbal communication skills · Strong sense of time organization and urgency · Able to work independently and within a team Education and Experience: · High school diploma, GED, or equivalent · Manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping experience preferred · Forklift Certification (on-site training available as needed) Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Prolonged periods of walking, bending, or driving forklift for movement of goods Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform manual tasks repetitively Pay: $17.75 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
