Shipping and Receiving Associate

Conley's Greenhouse Manufacturing & Sales is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual to work in our Shipping department. Duties and Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading of goods and supplies and ensuring proper handling. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area. Maintaining quality in the warehouse and keeping track of all backordered and damaged inventory and reporting the same to the supervisors. Proper packing, labeling and tagging of the inventory in the shipping department. Conducting cycle counts of inventory when required. Efficiently carrying out all orders of the supervisors. Working in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse. Communicate and coordinate work with fellow workers and other team members and/or supervisors. Skills and Specifications: Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years job related experience required Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment, forklift certified preferred but not required. Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company. Should have the ability to work in a team. Should be able to complete all assigned work efficiently. Should possess time management skills and be able to meet weekly shipment targets. Must successfully pass pre-employment background check Position is full-time (Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week. Employee must be able to work overtime as deemed necessary by manager, (Saturdays and weekdays as needed, in the near future). Pay depends on qualifications and level of experience.
