Shipping and Receiving Associate

Overview Hines Nut Company LLC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, or until the last truck is loaded Friday: Half-day or as needed based on operations Job Description Hines Nut Company is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to assist with daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inspections, documentation, and inventory tracking. Key Responsibilities Check drivers in and out for scheduled pickups and deliveries. Assist with receiving inbound loads and coordinating outbound shipments. Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy, damage, and proper condition. Verify quantities, lot numbers, and product information. Prepare, review, copy, and organize shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading (BOLs). Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements. Track incoming and outgoing loads and communicate any discrepancies. Keep shipping docks, receiving areas, and surrounding workspaces clean, organized, and properly inspected. Communicate with warehouse personnel, drivers, and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Perform other warehouse and shipping-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and team members. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work additional hours when needed to complete daily shipments. We are looking for someone who is reliable, takes initiative, and can help keep our shipping and receiving operations running efficiently.
